Last month, drywall was in the process of being hung at Central Elementary. Now, the walls are currently being painted. The picture below shows some painting progress in one of the learning studios.

Other areas, such as the gymnasium, are currently being prepped with paint primer. Primer smoothes the surface of the wall so that paint can be applied more evenly and consistently.

Windows have also been installed around the remainder of the building, which will make a big difference in the upcoming chilly winter months!

Outside the school, curb work has started which will form the bus loop and sidewalks. There will also be a separate student pickup/dropoff area on another section of the property. The majority of the paving work for these areas will take place in the spring, so make sure to keep checking this blog for updates!
